I will entry the GB with the Eduard version of the Airfix kit.
This will be a out of the box build but the kit has a both PE and resin pieces.
I will make the version from No. 111 Squadron 1962, I think it looks very attractive with its black tail and spine.

Ok on with the pictures:

Box.

Instruction sheet and painting guide.

Sprue shots:

The resin seat and some very tiny pieces

The PE

Paint mask and a small decal sheet

Big decal sheet

Cockpit

Radome with weight in place

Air intake, cockpit and engine glued in place

More lead added, it's probably to much but better safe than sorry .

The wing and PE for the wheel wells.

Landing gear

Time for some paint

Tamiya XF-1 Black sprayed over the cockpit

Tamiya XF-19 Grey used for the primer coat

Tamiya X-18 Semi Gloss Black on the tail and spine

Masking the black area

Alclad Gloss Black Primer sprayed

Alclad II ALC-102 Duraluminium

Some panels are sprayed with a mix of Tamiya X-32 Titanium Silver and
Tamiya X-10 Gun Metal. Decals are also in place. The nose ring shall be
sprayed with Alclad Chrome.

Underside

I use the Promodeller Black wash with a drop of dish washing liquid,
this make it to flow just great.

Waiting for it to dry

Starting to remove the wash

Finished results, I get the effect that I hoped to achieve

Lightning is finished and pictures is in the final reveal thread
